Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

SoCal Sisterhood respects the rights of creators. If you believe content on our Services infringes your copyright, please send us a notice.

Where to send a notice

Our designated copyright agent:

Skyler Verbenec, 27001 Moulton Pkwy A108, Aliso Viejo, CA 92656, support@socalsisterhood.com

What your notice must include

  1. Your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or someone authorized to act for them.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you say was infringed.
  3. Identification of the material you want removed and where it is, with enough detail for us to find it (for example, a link or description of the event, conversation, or album).
  4. Your contact information: name, mailing address, email, and phone number.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

If your content was removed (counter-notice)

If we removed your content and you believe it was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same agent with:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district where we can be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we send it to the original complainant. Unless they file a court action within 10 business days, we may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days.

Repeat infringers

We may suspend or terminate the accounts of members who are repeat infringers.
